Miss Joey

With Joey turning 3 on Saturday I couldn't help but post these first little pictures of her life. For some reason I have been so sad for her turning 3. She is getting so big and so smart. She makes us laugh so much. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. The one at the top is one of my favorite pictures of Joey. Love those cheeks.

Look at that face...

Kendyl has a two new found loves, ducks and panties!! She always plays with this in the tub and sleeps with a stuffed duck at night. The first thing she does when we open her book is point out the duck....She also loves Joey's underwear a little too much. I will find her walking around with it in her mouth. I thought it would be something that she would do once and then be done, but it's starting to be a thing she loves to do. Our little pantie snitcher!! :) She makes this face all the time and says Ohhh. I love it too much.

Joey's first ballet class...

Sorry about the not very great picture of her dance class, but I didn't want to disturb them. That is Joey and her little cousin Jerzi in the background. They were so dang cute... So cute when they weren't taking 10 potty breaks in their 30 min. class. :) It was a lot of fun to see them. I am hoping that next week will go better. Joey really seemed to enjoy it so I guess that's all that matters. I love this little girl too much.

I am so happy it's the weekend...

I am so excited today. For one thing it's the weekend! Wahoo! And another if you would look at the date it is the 25th of January!! That means this crappy month is almost over. So I am definitely looking forward to that. I don't know why January makes me so mopey, but it sure does. The thing that I am most excited for this weekend is Joey starts her first little dance class tomorrow!! I am so excited. I've been giddy all week about it. Joey is so excited about it too and it's all she can talk about. So I will for sure have some pictures to post next week. I can't believe how big she is getting. She turns 3 next Saturday. Thanks to my sister Natalie who made the girls these darling tu tu's. They are adorable!!

PS..If you want to get one of these darling tu tu's write a comment to my sister Natalie on her blog and she will make one for ya....

Stroke of genius?...yeah I think so.....

So here it is...My genius idea...I am DONE picking up toys all day long!!! I have decided that I am not going to pick up toys all day, AnYmOrE!!! I might kick one across the floor when I am vacuuming, but I am no longer going to put them back on the shelf, or organize them during the day ever again. Why you ask?.... Well to me it makes no sense at all to pick up the toys in the girls room when they are dumping out another toy bucket in the living room. Or when I am organizing the toys in their closet while they continue to be wrecking balls throughout the house. So I have stopped... I am going to do the things that I rarely get to during the day because I am always picking up. I will deep clean my bathrooms, dust, and fold all my laundry. I tried it and it worked great. I felt like I had gotten so much accomplished in my day, and 15 min. before Chris got home is when I picked up stuff in the front room so it would appear to look nice. I know genius, right? I will save all my toy picking up at night time when the girls are sleeping. When I can clean an area without another area being totally messed up. At night I can organize all their toys so they are ready to be messed up and thrown around the next morning. It feels like I am always PICKING UP my house and never CLEANING it!! So I am excited for my new plan...

My girls have grown up this week....

Kendyl is a full time walker!!!

I am so happy to write about Miss Kendyl and her dang cute walk. She has been walking but still crawling most of the time for the past month. But this past week she has just taken off!!! She is practically running now. It so dang cute to watch. She is proud of herself you can tell. She is so busy and has lots of new tricks. She loves to be asked, what does a camel say? And she spits. It's so dang cute. That was our favorite trick to do to Joey. You ask that to Kendyl and she is still making that noise 5 min. later. She thinks she's pretty hilarious. I love this little girl so much. I feel like my girls have grown so big this past week. With Joey potty trained, and Kendyl walking, and I am officially done with nursing!!! It's such a relief and kind of sad all the time to think I don't have little babies around anymore. Don't get any ideas though. Kendyl will for sure be 3 before I get any ideas in my head. I am loving being myself right now. It's great. Chris loves it too!! I have been pregnant or nursing for the past 4 years almost. It's good to feel like myself again. My Dad took these pictures of Kendyl. I am loving them so much and can't decide which ones I am going to blow up big.

Potty trained!!!!

I am happy to announce that Joey is potty trained!!!! I thought this day would never come. No really I did, but it feels like we have been doing this for a year now. She is one smart cookie I thought she was going to be potty trained when she turned 2. I thought for sure she would be because she was already going on the potty when she was so little and was so interested in it. But she definitely had to be ready on her own. People told me all the time that she was stubborn and she would go when she was ready, and it was so true. She is so proud of herself and loved picking out her new big girl panties. I know I hate the word panties too, but it's okay when little girls say it, right? I am so proud of her. Sorry if this subject bores you but this is what my life is all about right now. Wahoo!!! My Dad took Kendyl's 1 year pictures and Joey had to jump in and get some taken too. She is such a doll.

Sick Day....

My little Kendyl is sick today with the flu. I just hope that Joey doesn't catch it too, but there really is no avoiding it. She has been such a help today with Kendyl. Taking care of her and helping me with her laundry. She loves Kendyl so much. These little girls are so sweet. Kendyl has wanted me to hold her all morning. It's been nice actually. I just put her down for a nap and decided to blog for a minute before I started my work. I hate when babies are sick.

I love these girls...

Cute binky smile..

Yeah, Buddy!!

I got to meet up with my cute friend Sadie this week. She lives in California and came home for the holidays. I was lucky to be on her long list of people to see while she was in town. Joey loved seeing her little girl Berit and has been talking about her since. Sadie was so cute, the present she gave me was my favorite "smell good" in the whole world. The one that I was talking about from Sephora that they discontinued. She found it on the Home shopping network. I was so excited. It is a giant tub of my favorite stuff in the world. Ashley my sis had given me one last time she came in to town so I will be smelling good for a long time now. Thanks girls!!

Holy Crap it's 2008!!

Happy New Year! This has been such a fun week being with my family and playing with all of the toys. We've had a blast. I love New Years and making new resolutions! I have a pretty long list of goals this year. Hope everyone had a great New Years!! If you have any good ones you'd like to share feel free, I would love to hear them.
