Happy Halloween!

Halloween with the girls this year was so much fun. We went to Heidi and Phil's and had yummy soup and bread bowls. Thanks Mom! And then we were off for trick or treating. I didn't see a whole lot of Joey for a while. She was so excited trick or treating with Alex and Abram, and was always a house a head of us. Chris got off work late..sniff sniff...So we had to catch up with him later. The girls were so fun. Kendyl kept saying over and over, "This is so fun!" She was so much fun this year! She was so good to say Trick or treat, and Thank you at every house. She sometimes would just stay at the door and say, Thank you over and over. People thought it was so funny and just loaded her up with candy. Joey ended up barefoot for part of it, how fun is that? It was nice it wasn't so cold. Kendyl loved going with Grandma Bevie and Papa Paul.
We met up with Chris and went for round 2 in our neigborhood. The girls were still going strong and still ran to every house. We went to our cute neighbors Darren and Tai and they had been waiting for the girls to get there and they had coloring books for them. The girls were so happy to color in them when we got home. We had such a fun Halloween. We then just made a bed of blankets on the floor and watched a movie and ate candy. The girls thought that was pretty sweet! I seriously can't believe how much fun Kendyl was this year! She is getting so big. She reminds me so much of how Joey was at this age. Such funny little girls. I will post more pics later...

The girls and I stole my Mom today so she could come play with us. My Mom came with me to Joey's pre-school program(will be posting pics and video soon!) It was the cutest program in the world and Joey did so good! My Mom bought the girls happy meals and we went to Gardner Village. For the second time this week! We love it there so much! We weren't there for too long. The girls were ready to go home and nap! Thanks Mom for playing with us! It was so fun and the girls loved being with their Grandma Bev!

Miss Joey..

We were in the car all together the other day and Chris and I were trying to have a conversation. Usually it's pretty hard to get a word in with these two kiddies. It was FINALLY quiet for a minute and Joey said..."Are you guys thinking about Meatloaf?" Where she comes up with this stuff, I'll never know. We had a good laugh over that one!

Dinosaur Park...

We went to the Dinosaur Park this past Saturday. I had to judge the costume contest with Natalie and Stacie and then we got to go look around the park. It was seriously so much fun. If you have never been there before it's definitely worth the long ace trip to O-Town and go. The girls loved the Dinosaurs and it's decorated so dang cute for Halloween! All the kids had a blast! Joey kept saying, "thank you so much for taking me to that place"! She was so sad when it was closing and we had to leave! I think this is going to become a tradition for us every year!

What am I.. 6 years old?

For those of you that know me.. you know that I have a ton of hair. For those of you who don't know me can probably just see that in my pictures! Anyway I was letting my hair air dry this morning, when I realized it was taking a long time. I went to go start blow drying and realized that still had a big section of my hair with conditioner in it. I must have been a bit distracted in the shower this morning, but really how ridiculous is that?

It's a whipped body delight miracle...

Anyone who knows me..knows that my most favorite stuff in the world from Sephora had been discontinued. I am happy to announce that I was trying to find some on the HSN..and I googled Whipped body delight coconut nectar and it came up on Sephora. It is not discontinued wahoo!!I ordered 2 tubs, but I really should have ordered 12. I love it so much. Maybe more then I love anything... or anyone. :) Just thought I would share the love....

Halloween flashback..

Oh how this is my favorite time of year!! Here are a few pics from Halloween last year. The debate is still out on what Joey will be for Halloween. It is between a witch, butterfly and a bee.

Child abuse..

Poor Kendyl the other night. After a crazy, hectic dinner..Kendyl dumped the whole thing of pepper all over the table. While I was busy picking up all the plates off the table I walked over to take Kendyl away from yet another mess and I dropped the tray of plates all over the floor. While I wasn't too happy cleaning all of this up. We heard Kendyl in the other room freaking out! We figured out that she had gotten pepper in her eyes! We thought that we should call poison control and it was good that we did. We had to flush out her eyes with water for 15 minutes!! We were basically toruturing our poor child! It was so awful. After that we had to sit in a dark room for her for 30 min. All was good but it was basically one of the worst nights ever! They were worried that she would have a corneal abrasian..sp? Anyway at least it makes me think that it's never a bad idea to just call poison control and check. I was just happy that she didn't hold anything against us and she hasn't even brought it up since. Love this girl too much!

My Two little friends...

Joey catching up on some reading before bed...

Kendyl gets so sad when Joey is at school. These glasses usually can cheer her up!

They seriously love each other so much! They make me so happy in my heart!

Oh Miss Joey...

Joey is absolutely loving school! She has a cute little friend there that she talks about all the time! I think that is really helping her with me leaving! The other day I dropped her off and she was starting to get a little nervous..and then her cute friend Ellie turned around and did this huge grin and Joey turned back to me patted my leg and said, "I'm good now Mom, I love you." She is growing up! sniff sniff.

Here is a picture of Joey crafting with me. She is doing all my inking for our project. She is really good at it too! She told me she likes to "ink all nakey" (use ink while wearing no clothes so she doesn't get her clothes dirty) I thought it was so hilarious I think it might be my new catch phrase around the house!

A Blast from my past...

I don't know if people know this about me that I am such a nostalgic cheezy person!Last weekend I found a box in the garage filled with all my old trolls! I was so sad thinking I had lost it in the move. It's been a long time since I have pulled them out. Joey and Kendyl were in heaven. Especially Joey! They sat there while I pulled each one out and told them the names, the ones I could remember anyway! Joey was so careful with them and loved them so much. I know most people think they are so hideous, But I always loved them more than dolls!I couldn't stop smiling when I was watching the my girls play with them. They were my favorite things when I was little. I think who shared my excitement for these when I was little was Brynn, Lacie Odom and Lacey Mock. Man my parents spent a butt-load on these! :)

Here is a picture of Kendyl with the my bear that I got when I was 3 years old or something. I loved this bear! Kendyl is kind of obsessed with this bear now! She has to get it when she wakes up and she says, "Where is it?" I give it to her and she says Bankie?(Blankie). And she will just play with it wrapping the bear up over and over and gives it lots of kisses! So cute! I was so happy I found that box!

Perspective...

I LOVED President Monson's talk on Sunday. I loved how he touched on living each day for the moments and taking joy in the journey. And how when we get frustrated about messes that are made seconds after we cleaned up, or toys being scattered through out the house...That one day we are going to miss the toys scattered through out the house, profoundly! It made me sad thinking about it already! My girls are growing up so fast! I also loved his quote when he was talking about how you can't live each day looking forward to tomorrow or planning great things for "tomorrow.. If you do that you will only have a big stack of tomorrows and a lot of empty yesterdays! I know that wasn't worded as good as he said it, but it was along those lines. And I am glad that I will be able to have a copy of it soon! I love coming away from talks like that and feeling that I want to be a better person. I love my family so much and I want to try to be a little bit more easy going and just be happy with everything right now. I never want to say again, I will be happy when "This" happens or "when" we have this! Sorry for such a serious post that is kind of unusual for me!

I ReaLLy LiKe ChRiS BeRReTT...

These are pictures of two people so happy to be out on a date with each other. As you can tell!! This was us on our Anniversary. We went out to eat at Asian Star, so yummy! For the past 6 anniversarys we have gone to PF, but decided to change it up a bit this year. It was so nice we had a fun secluded booth and enjoyed being with each other so much. After dinner we went to see Eagle Eye, which we loved. So suspenseful and entertaining! Thank you to Wendy and Nate for watching our baby girls! I love this boy too much! He truly makes me so happy.

Please watch this...

With our 7 Year anniversary tomorrow, I thought I would show this video. It represents our relationship perfectly! It's like someone followed us around with a video camera through our court ship. It's very similar to the day that Chris went and asked my Dad for my hand. Enjoy, I love it!

Wow, Can you say Chris Jr.?

Here is Kendyl wearing her daddy's hat and boy does she look just like Chris to me in this picture! She loes stealing his hats and wearing them. She thinks she's pretty funny when she does this. She is too cute! Last night I was starting to ask her how old she was. I started "Kendyl..How old, and she interrupted me and said, "um howween(halloween)..a witch..ooh scary..not nice..scary..cute..cute witch! She thought I was going to ask her what she will be for Halloween. It was the cutest thing in the world! She is saying everything now. I love it!

ReTract this....

I would like to take back my harsh statement from a few weeks ago. You know the one where I said I hate ABBA! Think I must have had a bad experience with the song Dancing Queen or something. We saw Mamma Mia and we loved and I have been listening to the soundtrack everyday this week. Thanks Mom! Joey loves it so much and knows all the words. Chris took me to Mamma Mia and we walked in to it a few minutes after it started. We sat down and shortly she busted out in song..Chris turns to me and said, "This is a musical?" I just smiled and tried not to laugh out loud. Later on in the show when the song Dancing Queen came on Chris nudged me and said "It's ABBA, your favorite." I told him, "yep all the songs in here are ABBA! And we just started laughing and couldn't stop. I thought it was so cute that he had no idea what this movie was that he was taking me to. He cracks me up! Love loved the movie! Brynn you can love me again!!!
So sorry for the rage filled post a few weeks ago. I should have pointed that hatred to someone more like Jesse McCartney or someone like that. Have to admit that I do like his song "Leavin" it's so catchy and I never can get it out of my head.

Love me some Cullens....

Does this not look like the funnest party ever? It so was! I went to a "Twilight Saga" party hosted by the cute Johnson girls! They did so good. They truly went all out. Everyone was supposed to bring something that had to do with the books. I brought "puppy chow." Heidi brought "velvet cupcakes"(Edward's velvet voice) hee hee. Nat made the darling chess peice sugar cookies. Everyone truly out did themselves. The party favors were darling wedding dresses with chocolate and "feathers" inside! :) Jennie had "hot dogs" in dog dishes! It was so hilarious. Please notice the feather in Heidi's hair! The discussions were awesome ladies. We laughed so hard and ate such good food! It was so fun to talk about Twilight all night long. That never gets old to me. Sweet racks ladies..I mean sweet shirts!
