field trippin'

Kendyl had her class field trip today. She was so excited and was counting down the day for two weeks now. We went to the cute Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. She was so excited to ride the bus. That might have been her favorite part aside from her seeing the Peacock. She was positive it was staring right at her. Also, a horse bit her shirt which her and her friends thought was hilarious.Thanks to my cute neighbor/friend Jeni Hansen for watching Cameron so I could go. Kendyl was on cloud 9 the whole time. Love this sweet girl.

What's going on with us?

We made cupcakes on Saturday night, and the girls wanted to frost them. I never ended up getting a picture of the finished product. They went a little nuts with the sprinkles. Cameron loved the frosting as you can tell with her whole head in the bowl. She kills me! The picture at the bottom is the girls all waiting their turn for "superman."

Update on what has been going on with my girls...

Joey is LOVING 2nd grade. Which makes me so happy, since 1st grade was sooo hard for her and for me. She is taking dance and is so excited to have three dances this year at the recital!

Kendyl is loving kindergarten, but she might love picking out her outfit for school even more than going. :) She is loving dance and is so excited that she gets to take ballet and hip hop this year, which means two costumes. She couldn't be more happy about that!

Cameron is talking like crazy. Over the past two months her vocabulary has gone nuts. And she is wanting to go potty all the time now. Yesterday she said to me, "Mommy buy me panties" How could I turn her down, so off to the store we went and she picked out "Minnie" underwear. She shows everyone she sees too. Isn't that fantastic? I think so.

ps..I cut seven inches off my hair. Wahoo!

good books, and romantical dinners

Just finished reading one of the best books of my life. Seriously. I stole it from my Mom's bookshelf and started reading it on Monday and never wanted to put it down. Thanks Mom!

Tonight was such a romantic evening. I am totally kidding, but I'm serious. Chris got home really late from work around 8:45, but we wanted to have dinner together. I fed the girls earlier around 5 and then made spaghetti for when Chris got home. I sat on the couch finishing the last chapter of my book and watching the girls set the table. Watching them talk so sweet together after a long day of punching each other and yelling.  Listening to Cameron in her seat singing a long to Kelly Clarkson on the iPod. I finished my book and of course I am weeping, and then look up to the sweetest sight of them putting out plates and getting everyone drinks. I just love my little family more than anything. Chris got home and the girls were so sweet and excited and laughing all through dinner. Talking about their days while they slurped their spaghetti like "little tiny birds" they would say. Cameron is saying everything these days. We call her our little narrator, because she is always commenting on what is happening. My favorite thing is when she says..Mommy, Look at me! She says this over and over to make me look at her so she can tell me something. I love it. She has the funniest little voice.
My girls are growing up so fast. Slow down....
i Love my life.
{We found this when we were cleaning up dinner, the spaghetti is done. haha!}

Love these pictures of Cam. silly little lady.
